Awards: received on two occasions the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Scholarship + the Hart Bursary

First prize in the Van Gogh Centenary Portrait Competition. Exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery, London and Aberdeen Art Gallery as part of the NPG Portrait Competition Exhibition on two occasions. Involved in group exhibitions in the National Gallery, London, the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, + RGI, Edinburgh.
Residencies: 2011 at Gaelic faculty of the University of the Highlands + Islands, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Isle-of-Skye
(Mòrsgeul/Roisgeul and Taghairmeachd cycles result), leading to group exhibition at RSA (Mòrsgeul + AV work, "Taghairm, a gathering summons") + Roots of Higher Powers cycles of work (ongoing)
